WESTERDOC
Westerdoc is my production company. I have been making documentaries for over 30 years, mainly for Dutch public broadcasters. My documentaries are often about socio-cultural subjects and are characterized by a personal approach. Some of my productions include: Branch 13, a series about iconic Dutch department store HEMA; A Trip Along the Rhine; From Almelo to America, about famous Dutch singer Ilse DeLange, who tries to establish a career in the USA.
Alongside my work for public broadcasters I also work on my own projects.
FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT
From Darkness to Light is my latest independent project. It tells the impressive story of Jewish war child Timna, who liberates herself from the dark shadow of the Holocaust through art.
